COMSOL, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to join its Los Angeles office.
Primary responsibilities
- Provide technical support for users of COMSOL Multiphysics and the AC/DC Module
- Give product demonstrations at seminars, workshops, conferences, and meetings with customers
- Act as instructor at product training sessions
- Work collaboratively with development engineers and participate in product development
Qualities
- Business oriented
- Genuine interest of mathematical modeling, computational physics, and related software simulation tools, particularly within the field of low-frequency electromagnetics
- Strong attention to customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High energy, self-motivated, quick study with positive attitude, flexible nature and goal-oriented work habits
Requirements
- M.A., M.S., or Ph.D. student in engineering, physical sciences, or life sciences
- Experience with mathematical modeling
Preference given to those applicants who have experience with COMSOL Multiphysics.
