Spanish Speaking Sales Engineer

COMSOL, Inc. is seeking a Spanish Speaking Sales Engineer who is intimately familiar with multiphysics analysis to join its Boston office. Sales territory is Central And South America. We are seeking an individual with a strong background in finite element analysis from at least one of the following areas: structural mechanics, heat transfer, electromagnetics, fluid flow, chemical reactions, and/or acoustics. Proven experience with COMSOL Multiphysics is desirable.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Expand sales of COMSOL Multiphysics software to engineers, managers, scientists, and academics • Manage assigned sales territory • Develop new and existing leads through phone calls and presentations • Identify, nurture and develop potential sales accounts • Create clear, simple pre-sales simulation examples to excite prospects and demonstrate our products • Provide some pre- and post-sales technical support directly and through COMSOL’s support team • Present COMSOL’s capabilities and its use at public seminars, customer-site presentations and professional conferences • Travel required to Central and South America (20-30%) Requirements: • Master’s degree or equivalent required, in engineering, physical sciences, or life sciences • Experience with the sale of software products is preferred • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills are a must – balancing multiple demands from many prospects • Positive, competitive, outgoing personality. Business acumen. Must enjoy interacting directly with prospects and existing customers • Excellent communications skills, in person, on the phone and in writing. Comfortable with public speaking • Current ability to work in the US • 20%-30% travel per year.
